AW VAULT®
The AW VAULT® provides a secure, multi-penetrant pathway to the roof that's insured and warrantied for 20 years. This three-piece assembly features a heavy gauge, all-aluminum, powder-coated construction. It includes a vandal-resistant lid, middle housing, and flanged curb that work together with our RPH Exit Seals for a weather-tight fit around pipes, cables, ductwork, and other penetrants of various sizes.
Wall VAULT®
The WALL VAULT® provides a single pathway for multiple penetrations through a parapet or exterior wall. It is constructed using heavy-gauge powder-coated welded aluminum and stainless steel hardware, and is paired with our weather-tight exit seals. Alt-hough the WALL VAULT® is built with the same high-quality mate-rials as our AW VAULT®, it has not been third-party tested as a standalone product.
AWI VAULT®
The AWI VAULT® is an AW VAULT® that includes an insulation curb extension (ICE). In addition to the specifications listed in the AW VAULT®, the AWI VAULT® allows for insulation to be installed on-site to further enhance thermal performance along the curb. This VAULT series comes with an air/wind-rated assembly.

The Standard VAULT® is tested and meets the requirements of the 2023 Florida Building Code. The Standard VAULTs were tested to HVHZ and Large Missile Impact requirements in accordance with TAS 201, TAS 202, and TAS 203. The Standard VAULTs were tested to a design pressure of +/- PSF.
The Standard VAULT® was created to change the paradigm in roof penetrations by providing a single, secure pathway for multiple penetrations through the roof which eliminates leaks and meets the building code requirements for air permeance and missile impact (e.g., ICC, Miami-Dade/Florida).
The Standard VAULT® was created as a superior alternate solution to pitch pans. As seen time and again in the industry, the pitch pans will fail because the sealant can dry out and shrink, causing leaks. Putting a rubber boot or diverter on it doesn’t solve the problem in the long term, and can even create additional issues. The VAULT®, however, provides a single pathway for multiple penetrations and will replace vertical penetrations with a tightly sealed horizontal penetration.
All penetrations should be supported no more than 12” from exiting the housing, and also, below the roof level as near as possible to the bottom of the roof opening. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.
We add R4 insulation to provide a minimal level of protection; however a vapor barrier and additional insulation must be added to meet local requirements.
The housing has a 3″ built-in counterflashing. The curb to housing connection acts as a termination for the roof material.
No. The lid and curb should NEVER have a penetration. Doing so will compromise the integrity of the VAULT® and void the warranty. In addition, the lid and the curb should never be punctured. Only use the pre-drilled holes for the fasteners.
